Welcome to my happy little website! I cobble it together bit-by-bit in between exploring Germany, knitting, playing with my girl, and taking pictures!
After my daughter was born, I had "midwife crisis," where I realized that my heart was telling me to drop all my "techie" skills and follow my lifelong dream to become a midwife...or something... I want to be involved with birth in any way I can be the most helpful. In order to fulfill my goal of helping women have their dream births, I took some wee baby steps toward becoming a CPM (Certified Professional Midwife), and in the meantime, I am a DONA-certified birth doula! I have also completed a homebirth midwife's assistant training course and hope to someday serve as a homebirth assistant.
I am also putting my photography and editing skills to good use to document childbirths for those families who would like a permanent and beautiful memento of the beginning of their new life together.
